In a seeming comedy of errors, our most recent three day trip to the beach was rife with forgotten items. The playard, the booster seat (Kinda. We found it later under the stroller but went a whole day without it). I know there were a few other items we’d forgotten or not brought enough along.
I’m happy to say that we did NOT forget this very important item: the new i play (TM) Sun Protection Hat the company had just sent as a courtesy for review. Phew!
Why do I think a baby sun hat is so important?
Our one year old is refusing to wear sunglasses right now, although we’re trying to accustom him to them. So a hat that shades his eyes from the sun is most important.
The wide brim on this hat covers the back of his neck and ears. Meaning less sunscreen needed on those little parts.
My favorite feature? The ties on the hat pull the brim around him to prevent sun exposure and keep the hat on in beachy winds! Which we had a lot of this trip! (Plus they keep the baby from pulling off the hat every two seconds!).
i play (TM) Sun Protection Hats come in a variety of styles, prints, and colors. They are made with a special UV-protective fabric and all feature wide brims to offer extra sun protection. Wide brimmed hats are especially recommended for infants to protect their face, neck, and ears. i play (TM) sun hats provide protection to these crucial areas and also feature a wick-away lining to draw moisture away and maintain dryness.
Check out the many styles of sun hats from i play! I love the reversible ones, and the prints are fantastic!
I hope I NEVER forget the sun hats on a summer trip!
